Since 2010, The Child's Garden Preschool has provided a unique, Waldorf inspired, mostly outdoor, learning environment for preschool age students on the North Fork.  Our spacious play yard, school garden, small cedar forest, and field trips to local nature areas facilate movement, discovery, and a seasonal connection to nature that is deeply nourishing to a child's senses.  We believe in spending large amounts of time engaged in unstructured play outside, fostering a love of learning and stimulating the imaginative powers that are awake in early childhood.  We strive to connect children and their families to the land, model stewardship and build community.
